Salvation Army to Rebuild Its Hall in City
The Salvation Army will rebuild its hall at Second and Virginia after the new year. BISBEE Arizona December 16 John Robert Carroll 24 identified as Robert Lacy fugitive Texas murderer who refuses to sign waiver. Extradition possible to Huntsville Texas prison from which he fled over ten months ago. Lacy worked on a local ranch while facing forgery charges after returning from Taos New Mexico. He was convicted in 1938 for slaying Harry Leon Helfman in Dallas and had escaped twice before.

30,000 Cattle On Feed In The Pecos Valley
About 30,000 head of cattle are on feed in the Pecos Valley, more than twice last year’s figure, per cattle inspector A. B. Miller.
