Tuggle versus Lea case yields verdict in promissory note suit

District Court Saturday rendered a decision in the George Tuggle versus Mable Lea and others case. Recital at Presbyterian Church Under Woman's Club Sponsorship

Engineers Secure Wage Advance on New Haven Line

New Haven Conn Dec 10 The New York New Haven and Hartford railroad and its engineers reach agreement on wages. Passenger engineers get 3 85 a day for trips 100 miles or less up 35 cents. Freight and work train engineers rise to 4 40 a day for 100 miles or less. Yard switch engineers ten hours a day in yards gain 15 cents to total 3 50.
