Second Well Provides Stronger Flow Near Dexter

United States Senator John H. Mitchell died in Portland Oregon after complications from dental procedures. Born in Washington County Pennsylvania June 22 1822 he moved to Portland in 1861 and began serving in the Senate in 1873.
