Cornell Chi Psi House Burned In Ithaca Tragedy

A Cornell University Chi Psi fraternity house burned to the ground in Ithaca New York. Two students W S Nichols and W W Goetz were feared buried in the walls along with attorney A S Robinson John Rumsey Esty Landon and O L Schmuck all volunteer firefighters killed or fatally injured. Firefighters arriving after the blaze began found two men at a southeast tower window but the tower collapsed burying them. Goetz survived though injured while J Pope and F W Greene were missing and believed under the ruins.

Mitchell to wed Miss Baine in San Antonio marriage

Ee W Mitchell secretary and collector for Roswell Telephone Co and Roswell Electric Light Co travels to San Antonio to wed Miss Mary Louise Baine of Artesia Texas on December 12. The couple will return to Roswell December 15 and plan to set up housekeeping in time. Mitchell praised as one of Roswell's best young men. Baine has visited Roswell and Hagerman friends.
