A Martinez couple marked their 45th wedding anniversary with family and friends gathering in the hometown residence. The pair, long-time residents, celebrated milestones and shared memories from decades together.
The Roswell Community Band and the Jazz Band perform a December concert at the Eastern New Mexico University Roswell Performing Arts Center at 7 p m on December 7. Co directors are Sandra Weikel and Kevin Everitt with Captain Bill Lamb directing the jazz group. A reception follows and rehearsals resume after Christmas.
