Twenty-Five SNM Prison Gang Members Indicted in New Mexico
Twenty five Syndicato de Nuevo Mexico members including Roswell resident Javier Alonso were indicted in two federal cases alleging murder kidnapping and drug and firearm conspiracies. The indictments describe prison outside operations coercion violence and racketeering linked to gang leadership and rival clashes with Barrio Aztec Los Carnales Sureno and Burquenos factions. Twenty three defendants were arrested and two remain fugitives as the multi agency probe led by the FBI Albuquerque division nets broad prison gang activity across New Mexico.
