Ruidoso Council Hears Cable TV Rate Hike Proposal
The Ruidoso Village council continued consideration of Cablevision of Lincoln County's request for a $1 monthly hike and 25 cents per extra outlet to reach 7.50 for first connections and 1.25 for additional outlets. The hearing noted financial constraints, with final decision pending. The meeting also endorsed Christmas decorations on Sudderth Drive, approved bids for two snow plows, discussed a humane society lease, and approved paving district final payment and traffic system improvements with thanks to highway officials.
