Accident Fatal To Mrs. Pickering
Mrs. Loma Pickering of Roswell died at 8 30 p m from pneumonia and lung infection linked to an auto crash Sunday when her car left the road and toppled into a lake at Bottomless Lakes State Park. Rescued by a man believed to be Elmer Johnson, she had lived in Roswell 25 years and supported nursing work before recent retirement. She was born February 12 1893 in Houston and is survived by a son, father, grandson, four brothers, three sisters, and several in laws. Funeral plans await relatives. Talmage Mortuary is handling arrangements.
