Noble young woman Miss Gessert found strangled in Roswell
Miss Emma L. Gessert a 40 year old Roswell New Mexico bookkeeper died by strangulation in her room at the Keyperd Sanitarium Columbus Ohio reported December 3. The deceased who had lived in Roswell four years sought treatment for nervous disorder and returned home this week. Funeral plans not yet made. The incident follows a separate report of a man who died from suffocation after a coughing spell. The notice includes other ad copy for a cough syrup product.
