City council knowledge survey reveals limited voter awareness
A Daily Record Sunday survey found over 75 percent could not name any of their nine city councilmen. Of 55 respondents, 40 admitted not knowing their representatives, while 12 named L C Stiles and three named Bob Wafful. All could name Mayor Jerry N Smith. Other councilmen listed included Andrews Jr, Cress, Grant, Henderson, Oldrup, Ryan and Stephens.
