Iran widens uranium stockpile near weapons grade
UN IAEA reports Iran has 164.7 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium as of Aug 17, up 22.6 kilograms since May. The agency notes broader concerns over ongoing enrichment, disrupted inspections, and insufficient access to sites Varamin and Turquzabad, with Tehran showing little cooperation amid heightened tensions in the region.
