D. C. Green head driller at Spring River Oil Company led a crew four miles west of town to remove a bit shoe and a socket from the prospect hole. They reached four o'clock yesterday and expect to resume drilling Monday after setting a new outfit. The hole stands 407 feet deep and the team plans rapid lowering once equipment is reinstalled.
