Newport News Va August 27 20 000 people witnessed the launch of the battleship Louisiana by the Newport News Shipbuilding Company The vessel to join sister ship Connecticut will be one of the most powerful in the new American navy with 12 inch and 7 inch guns and a total crew of 42 officers and 741 men The cost is about four million dollars
