Nevada stockmen suffer 21 horses with skin lesions and depigmentation after the A bomb test near the test site. Cattle show no radiation lesions but suffered malnutrition from scarce forage and water, with several head dying. The AEC notes fallout dust remained on horses' backs during dry spells.
