OCC orders test on Caprock saltwater well

The Oil Conservation Commission ordered a 90 day test on a Texaco saltwater disposal well after Caprock farmer Paul Hamilton claimed it ruined his freshwater supply. Texaco will fund a $7,000 independent test using radioactive tracers to detect leaks. results may affect a $1.4 million federal case.
