Anaya names Singer special prosecutor in canopy liquor suit
Albuquerque attorney Robert Singer will serve as special prosecutor in Farmington and Roswell canopy liquor license cases. Five Farmington businesses operate under license 970 and three Roswell outlets under license 766. Anaya’s suit challenged the licenses after a court ruled his office could not present the case due to prior representation of the state Alcohol Beverage Control Department. Singer will resign his campaign treasurer post for the U S Senate.
