Governor John E. Miles will visit Roswell next Saturday, August 26, to dedicate the new highway and bridge on U S 380 east of Roswell. A banquet and street dance may follow after an official opening on the bridge, with plans to include a Governor’s remarks and other officials on the courthouse lawn. The event is sponsored by The Record, with Lea county participation sponsored by Hobbs Daily News Sun.

The procedure, developed at Temple University, aims to slow cancer growth by cooling. no cures are claimed yet. The patient woke and reported feeling well though vision remained blurry.
