Penthouse ruling over missing prizes sparks contract dispute
State Supreme Court Justice Alvin Klein ordered Penthouse to pay Cheryl Rixon about 86 000 dollars after finding the magazine breached its contract by failing to deliver a Diamante auto whirlpool windsurfing board cruise lingerie chocolates and other gifts promised for her 1979 80 Pet of the Year title. The case drew comments from Penthouse spokesman Roy Grutman who said the judge erred and that an appeal would follow.
