In Albuquerque on August 18 the state secured judgments totaling 7503.91 with interest from former Sandoval county treasurer P Fernando Armijo and his bondsmen. Armijo had pleaded guilty last year to embezzlement and received a suspended sentence of five to ten years. Recovery was obtained in two district court cases against Godofredo Armijo and the 1925 1930 deputy period, with the National Surety Company as bondsman. The case says money was collected but not accounted for.
