The Roswell Gas and Electric Co was sold at ten o clock on courthouse steps by special master G A Richardson under foreclosure. Buyer Geo W York of Cleveland representing bondholders committee paid 125000, against 757310.35 debt at 6 percent, plus costs. Proceedings move to Santa Fe to foreclose before federal court with re sale to a local company anticipated and reorganization set for Thursday. Delegates include Homer Rhodes and others from Cleveland and local figures.

American Legion Boy Scouts Return From Pine Lodge Camp
Seventeen scouts completed a ten day summer camp at Pine Lodge under Minor Huffman with Irvin Dungan as scout master away.
