Turtle Marathon grows from small start to big fundraiser
The Turtle Marathon in Roswell marks its 25th Labor Day event on Sept 3 with four races and wide support. From a 10 runner training race, it now draws hundreds and has raised about $40 000 for the New Mexico Multiple Sclerosis Society. Registration runs 6 30 to 7 30 a m for the 5k and 5 30 am start for the marathons with a 20 dollar early fee.
