Bust of Gov Cargo to grace New Mexico Capitol Rotunda
The bronze bust of former governor David F. Cargo will be unveiled at 11 a.m. August 18 in the Capitol Rotunda. Storm Townsend, the British sculptor, created the piece after years of limited access to Cargo. Cargo funded the bust himself, and it was donated to the state after he left office in 1970.
