Man held on $500000 bond in Artesia murder case
Jormas Gonzales Jr., 24, of Artesia, was charged with second degree murder after a man, Leroy C. Franco, 28, was shot Monday night. Gonzales turned himself in and was arraigned before Magistrate Larry Wad, with bail set at $500,000. The slaying is Artesia’s first this year.
