Roswell to study expansion of 43-year-old airport terminal
Roswell plans a two year study and design for expanding the Roswell International Air Center terminal built in 1975. The project funded by a 148,162 grant from New Mexico DOT will explore secure and non secure areas, baggage, screening, ticket counters, dining, admin offices and future gate expansion. Armstrong Consultants Inc. and Gensler will conduct the work to anticipate needs 20 years ahead and consider energy efficient features.

Ray Lewis, born August 4, 1919 in Conshohocken Pennsylvania, turned 99. He grew up in Plainfield New Jersey and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Lewis served in World War II with the 99th Infantry Division, began as a private, trained at Officer Candidate School, rose to second lieutenant, and earned a Purple Heart on the Western Front during the Battle of the Bulge.
