States rely on pentobarbital as executions proceed
Missouri and Texas have carried out lethal injections using a single pentobarbital dose amid shortages of other chemicals. Since 2011, more than 60 executions have used pentobarbital, with most inmates showing few distress signs though some cases included visible reactions. Missouri reports eight executions since switching, citing reliability and humane results.

An unlawful taking of a motor vehicle is under investigation on Lusk Drive. the car was reported stolen then recovered with no suspects. A dumpster fire near Wildy Street and Missouri Avenue caused $150 in damage, with a male suspect age 18–19 described as blonde and spiked-haired fleeing the scene.
