Green Money Light Set for Bottomless Lakes Pool
The New Mexico Parks and Recreation Commission will build a new L shaped pool at Bottomless Lakes State Park costing 125 000 dollars. Construction begins after September 15 with approval from the state board of finance. The 42 by 82 foot pool will serve 250 swimmers, replacing the old pool that buckled and required repairs. Additional funds for an outdoor amphitheater road improvements and shelters may follow.

Roswell Residents Recall Shirley Stark Early Life
Roswell residents recall Shirley Stark 21 once lived in Roswell from 1950 to 1951 with her parents at 602 S Lea. She later graduated UT in June and was found dead with another UT sorority sister after vanishing July 18 near the University of Texas campus. Police recovered their bodies Friday in a field north of Austin.
