In Roswell, Mark S. Earnest received a deferred 1 to 5 year term plus five years probation after pleading guilty to possession of more than eight ounces of marijuana with intent to distribute. Who's Who honor for Lea Tandy and ROTC cadet Dollahan
Lea Anne Tandy 18 of 1614 E Second St and Anne Tandy of 609 Hermosa Dr have been named to the 1977 78 Who's Who Among American High School Students. The honor includes a biography in the publication and eligibility for $1000 scholarships from a $40000 pool. Tandy graduates Goddard High School in 1978 and will begin at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces this fall. Cadet Walter Dollahan a Roswell Goddard High School 1976 graduate and Texas Tech University student is among ROTC minded cadets at a Kentucky camp for college sophomores and junior college grads without ROTC. Six other hospitals in New Mexico and one in Colorado expressed interest in joining the network. Beverly Anderson of Roswell attends Northwest Outward Bound School course in Oregon July 15 August 7 to build self confidence and teamwork.
