FBI expert tests rifle marks in Bruce case trial
FBI ballistics identified rifling marks on two bullets from Lucille Bruce for the Tobias Ortega Raymond Patterson murder trial in Gallup. Examiner said marks were similar to test bullets from the weapon but could not conclusively prove firing from it due to surface damage. No Underwater Lights Halts Night Swimming
Roswell Park Superintendent A B Gwinn explains why Cahoon Park and Honda pools close early. Lack of underwater lights at Cahoon makes night viewing difficult, while Honda has lights but low attendance and high costs deter extended hours. Staffing and supervision limits also constrain summer hours. He notes August demand falls as students return to school and pools are not heated.
