Large Still Seized East of Here Last Night
Federal officer R I Neal and Sheriff Frank Young seized a 150 gallon still 35 miles west of Roswell at 7:39 p m. Three men, J W B Tucker 67,H B Tucker 27, and R H Pennpeta 79, were charged with possession and manufacture of whiskey and with possession of a still. 200 gallons of mash and 5 gallons of whiskey were found. All pleaded not guilty and were bound over to federal court with $500 bonds. The younger two face transportation charges. Two men were arrested in a truck carrying liquor.

Pioneer cattle man L H Bradstreet dies at 68
L H Bradstreet, famed southeastern New Mexico cattleman, died suddenly at his home on 403 South Missouri Avenue of a heart attack at about 12 15 this afternoon. Born October 31 1864 in England he came to Texas in 1881 and to New Mexico in 1882. He worked on the Circle Diamond ranch and near Roswell for 48 years in ranching and cattle work.
