Suspect Borunda Arrested After SWAT Sweep of Home
Police arrived around 3 p.m. after a search warrant tied to Sesar Raul Borunda for probation and parole violations and domestic abuse. SWAT deployed a distraction device at 3:45 p.m. tear gas entered the attic. Borunda was found elsewhere and arrested at 4:47 p.m. A woman and two children exited safely at 4:15 p.m.. no injuries or charges against the woman reported.

Three Applicants Nominated for Chaves County District Judge
