Milwaukee April 27 A startling disclosure shows Frank G Bigelow bank president defaults with liabilities over two million and assets near one and a half million. Largest creditors are banks nationwide. local banks unaffected. Creditors span the United States as investigators review Bigelow affairs and missing ex assistant cashier Gott.
The local Odd Fellows lodge marks its eighty sixth anniversary with a community gathering. Members from nearby chapters attend as plans for future charitable events are announced.
Roswell Odd Fellows accompanied by a Hagerman band traveled to Hagerman for a night of pleasure and profit to mark the lodge 86th anniversary. Dr C E Lukens and C C Hill spoke on the lodge as church helper while a large Roswell contingent returned this morning after a ceremonial event at Hagerman.
Local Baptists report communication with Rev. H. S. Vermilion of Arkadelphia Arkansas. He plans a trial visit beginning next Sunday to consider locating as pastor after engagements with Odd Fellows. Vermilion is highly recommended as a capable speaker and pastor.

Mrs Katharine McKay departed this morning for Chicago to pursue an advanced music course at the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Her pupils, honored Saturday, presented her a hand painted gold shirt waist set a bell pin and flowers in appreciation of her teaching.
The Chicago strike expanded from a small boycott of Montgomery Ward to include Marshall Field and Co Carson, Pierce, Cott and Co and J W Farwell Co. Pickets were posted at stables, stores, and warehouses to block non union workers from handling goods.
Mr and Mrs Maxey and Miss Laura left this morning for Alva in the Oklahoma territory where Mr Maxey and Miss Laura will stay while Mr Maxey goes to the Isthmus of Panama on a prospecting trip. Mr Maxey will remain in Alva about one month.
