Government agents conducted raids on lottery agencies in California following lotteries. Officials targeted operations amid concerns over illegal gambling and unauthorized gaming activity. Local authorities coordinated with federal agencies to seize records and assets and interview proprietors.
Postoffice inspectors acting under Washington directives raided Honduras and Mexican lottery agencies in San Francisco, arresting several employees and seizing tickets and evidence. He came from Iola, Kansas, with his brother who has cared for him. funeral arrangements send the body to Iola for burial.
