No Cutting Lights Says Gillenwater Roswell
W H Gillenwater of Roswell Electric Light Company denies rumors the city will lose street lights over back bills. He explains the old $5 560 debt was assigned to Albuquerque National Bank with January and April payment promises. A January 2 500 payment reduced the balance to 3 055, but April 1 saw no full payment. The bank warned, the city paid 1 000, leaving 2 056 due.
