All Cases Against Hubbell Dismissed in Territorial Court
In Albuquerque on April 16 a district court morning session dismissed all remaining indictments against Frank A. Hubbell former county treasurer over irregularities in the treasurer office. The indictments were dropped after a verdict of acquittal was reached in the prior Thursday session when the jury returned not guilty. The territory failed to prove a case, ending Hubbell’s criminal charges and closing a long county affairs dispute that led to Hubbell and associates losing control in 1906.
