Thirteen Die as Survival Capsule Capsizes Near Offshore Rig
Thirteen men of the Ocean Express offshore platform crew died after a saucer shaped survival capsule capsized in 15 foot seas eight of the bodies were recovered aboard the Lexington while Navy divers found the rest. The platform sank in 60 mph winds about 40 miles northeast of Corpus Christi Texas.
