American soldiers balk at order near Phu Bai in Vietnam

About 100 soldiers from Charlie Company 2nd Battalion 196th Brigade refused to move to a forward defense near Phu Bai, saying the route was booby trapped and outnumbered. After pressure, 45 relented though one platoon remained. The unit was transported from Da Nang to bolster defenses during a major North Vietnamese offensive.
