Roswell Leader R C Worswick Dies at 49 in City
Ray Curtis Worswick known as Doc Worswick died at his home 110 North Michigan Avenue at 8 10 this morning after an extended illness. He was a prominent Southwest livestock figure and civic leader, with roles in Intermountain Livestock Credit Association and Marketing Association, Roswell Chamber of Commerce, and First National Bank. He was born February 18 1835 in Nortonville Kansas and married Ana Helen Oakens in 1912. He is survived by his wife three sisters and one brother. Services will be held Saturday at Ballard Chapel with burial in Oskaloosa.
