The New Mexico Democratic party faces several competitive nominations for state Senate and House seats district attorney and district judge positions. Filing day saw 121 declarations with 83 Democrats and 37 Republicans accepted by Secretary of State Ernestine Evans. Only three Republican contests exist in Santa Fe.
