The Canadian Ukrainians of Ressburn and district held a large celebration marking the 4th anniversary of Ukrainian immigration to Canada. The day featured church services, a community dinner, a concert, and honors for pioneers from 1900 and earlier. Rev Father E Stratychuk and Rev Kovalevitch spoke on hardship, progress, and loyalty to King George VI. The event closed with a silent prayer and the singing of God Save the King.
