Shell Canada awards Safe Grad bursaries to ten Manitoba grads
Ten Manitoba high school graduates were awarded Shell Canada Safe Grad Bursaries of 1000 each. Winners, from Winnipeg Toulon Brandon Dauphin Virden and Portage la Prairie, were chosen from over 5000 entries and celebrate Safe Grad with post secondary plans this fall. Shell promoted Safe Grad with kits and community support across Manitoba.

The Rossburn District Health Centre Auxiliary hosted the 10th annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday September 16. Thirty nine people took part in the event raising 986 dollars and 50 cents in pledges with Whitney Slow and Harley Slow as youngest participants and May Lawless Barb Matusko among the seniors.

Autopac rate hike tied to rising bodily injury claims
Manitoba Public Insurance reports nine month net income of 11.5 million for Autopac Automobile Division, down nearly 10 million from last year as bodily injury costs climb.
