Local hospital patients include Mrs King Mrs Thos Mitchell Bobby Crookshanks Florence Kachkowski of Marco and Mr Sam Fox Miss M Maizer of Jusice. Ben Cormack improves after blood poisoning Earl Moffat begins building a new drugstore. Rossburn Hospital Tag Day Oct 4 benefits the hospital. A veteran’s rally is set for Oct 7 at the Veteran’s Club. An unreserved auction sale of farm stock implements and household effects is scheduled for Oct 16 in Section 36 21 24 four miles from Mears P.O. Two Rossburn Theatre shows at 7 and 9 p.m. and several local residents travel to Winnipeg by auto.

Orest Dany attended St Joseph's College Yorkton for the coming term. Stanley Antonation bought the Oakburn Cash Store, and Stanley Kokoradz left for Yorkton to study at St Joseph's College. The Oakburn Legion held a Beer Banquet and dance to raise funds for the Oakburn Rink.
Grace Elizabeth Simms daughter of Mr and Mrs R Simms wed John Edmund Norris son of Mr and Mrs W W Wilson at Knox United church Russell on September 5 with Rev J F McNeill assisting.
