Rossburn council hears requests for signs at water plant
Village of Rossburn council met September 16 1969 with Mayor John W Cormack and councillors. They approved minutes financials hall caretaker wage 90 a month tax roll revision and by laws on sewer and elections. They urged Manitoba Water Supply Board to install road signs near the water plant and adjourned to October 21 1969.

The September meeting of Knox United Church Women met in the church annex with 12 members attending. Strathclair Golfer Captures Chalet Trophy at Rossburn Meet
Sixty nine golfers competed in the Rossburn Golf Club fall tournament at Rossman Lake. W Lee of Strathclair defended the Chalet Trophy with 105 total over three rounds, while Al Kitching of Rossburn was second at 107 and Tony Melnyk of Birtle third at 108. First Flight honors went to J Jamieson of Hamiota on a count back, followed by L Willett of Rossburn. Other flight winners included Doug Joiner, E Miller, J Sheardown, D McCaig, Robert Stupinsky and Don Erickson with scores ranging from 77 to 97.
