Govt ends contract with Athena for Youth News Network

Students Attend Rural Municipality Meeting On Road By-law
Nine Rossburn Collegiate History 30S students joined the RM Rossburn meeting on Oct 12. They heard public debate over by-law 10/99 to close a road with landowners Alex and Wendell Cleland noting loss of meadow access and Bruce Rae urging continued road ownership for hunting access. Ernie Antonow presented protest letters as no supporters spoke. Council defeated the by-law after one abstention by Ed Kreshewski due to conflict of interest.
