Rossburn election day set for Friday October 24 1952
Voters in the Village of Rossburn and Ward 4 of the Rossburn rural council go to polls October 24 from 9 am to 5 pm. Polls: Rossburn Town Hall for the village, Fred Stebeleski’s residence and Marco Hall for Ward 4. Two village councillors will be chosen from Huston Werbowski Crookshanks and Keryciuk, while Ward 4 challengers include Zemianski challenging incumbent Baubie.

A large crowd gathered at Rossburn Town Hall on Sunday afternoon October 19 to mark the University of Manitoba seventieth anniversary and discuss establishing a permanent Slavic Studies department. Miss Kay Flett bride elect for October 30 was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower October 16 at the home of Mrs. Robert Prichard.
