Events included contests by Mrs Mike Sotas, a poem by E Harris read by Mrs Dave Maxwell, an address by Mike Sotas, a watch presented to John by Albert Hiscock, and a luggage set gifted to Marlene by Dawn Moffat. John and Marlene thanked guests for kindness and donations before a luncheon.
