The fourth Pelly Trail Teachers' Association convention convened October 4–5 at Elphinstone Collegiate with 107 teachers in attendance. Highlights included remarks by Mrs. Keating on teacher responsibility, a praise of staff and administration, and talks on education reforms and new courses. Rossburn Lions Club Sets Supper Meeting For Oct 18
An executive meeting on Oct 11 outlined fall and winter activities to be presented at the supper meeting scheduled for next Thursday evening at 6 45 at George Lazaruk’s restaurant. Major items include a Turkey Shoot annual Fowl Bingo Grey Cup Pool the 2nd Anniversary banquet and dance and the Santa Claus Parade. All members are urged to attend.
