Planning District holds meeting in Erickson 1981
The regular monthly South Riding Mountain Planning District meeting was held September 23 1981 at the Erickson Office with directors Pedersen Oshust Minty Cochrane Skotlas Tiller Pearce and Brandon in attendance. Motions adopted included approving August minutes and the September financials. The board discussed solid landfill sites update and the development plan outline by A Shier. They designated the Municipal Planning Board as liaison with Underwood McLelland to obtain required plans and details for the Municipal and Seasonal Resort Services Study. Mileage rates were raised to 35 cents per mile effective September 1 1981. They endorsed subdividing properties and approved attendance at a Portage la Prairie Planning Board Seminar with costs reimbursed. The next meeting is October 28 at 7:00 PM in Erickson.
