MPIC withdraws from Manitoba property insurance program
Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation completes its exit from property and liability insurance. General Accident Assurance Company of Canada will offer policies to Manitobans at prevailing rates with a 7.5 percent commission to MPIC on renewals. About 46 MPIC staff will be offered internal transfers, and brokers may receive appointments with General Accident.
