Eagleson blamed for Canada Cup row and a ringette meeting planned
A Winnipeg column blames Alan Eagleson for the Canada Cup controversy while praising the tournament’s impact. It argues no other person could have staged the event and notes a regional ringette meeting in Dauphin on October 19 to form a Manitoba Games sport affiliate with Department of Fitness funds. Attendees will discuss growth, funding plans, and how to start ringette teams in the Parkland Region.
