The wedding took place at St Mary Ukrainian Church with Rev Theodore Harasymchuk officiating. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Mychasin of Olha Man, wore a lace gown with seed pearl coronet and carried white mums. The groom is son of John Markewich of Norquay Sask. A reception followed at the home of Mrs B Landgraff. Out of town guests included relatives from Sask, Manitoba, Ontario, and Michigan.

Glad to hear Nelson Dagg's mother Mrs J Dagg is improving and will soon be out of Neepawa Hospital after a major operation. Miss Patsy Rowland was home for the weekend from Russell. Mrs Birnie Sr. is improving after her fall. Mr and Mrs Andrew Moan visited Ninette two weeks ago Sunday. Mr and Mrs Henry Bory skiewich and family of Silverton were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs Horace Michalchuk. Steve Olinyk cut his hand badly while sawing wood. The Fergusons Gordon and girls drove to Dauphin on Sunday Sept 24 to visit grandmother Mrs Henderson and other relatives. Mrs Russell had been visiting her mother for several weeks as she is 97 and not well. Mrs C Russell returned home with the Fergusons. On the way home they stopped at Elphinstone to see their son-in-law and daughter Mr and Mrs Ed Kilimnik and son. Mrs Strzelecki came from Vancouver BC to visit her mother Mrs Hyra who is very ill in Birtle Hospital and was a guest of her brother and sister-in-law Mr and Mrs Bill Myra and other relatives.

Calgary man Gordon Breakey died Saturday night September 23 after a truck he drove overturned in a ditch while towing another vehicle near Tilbury 135 miles southeast of Calgary He worked for Alberta Trailer Sales and belonged to the Canadian Order of Foresters He is survived by his wife three children and his parents two brothers and two sisters The service was at Fosters Garden Chapel with interment at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Calgary
